If you are interested in moulin rouge fancy dress and want to know exactly what the moulin rouge is all about you might be interested in a new documentary program to be made by the BBC (to be shown on BBC3).  It's going to be very interesting because the producers have obtained unique backdoor access.

It is a unique opportunity to see “behind the scenes” at the Moulin Rouge as female dancers will be followed from their auditions in London right up to their appearance on stage at the Moulin Rouge.  And on the other hand you might also be interested in taking part - they need dancers under the age of twenty one  and trained in both classical and contemporary dance.

Currently they are not sure what the program will be called but it could be “Teen Burlesque” or ”Make Me a Showgirl”.

My money is on “Make Me A Showgirl” since the website makemeashowgirl.com has just been registered (8 Feb 2010).
